Yay, Alexa!

Last week, Alexa came out of the school a little happier than usual. She was carrying her Monsanto Safety Poster, with a blue ribbon and a big purple ribbon. When she got in the car, she told me that she won the Safety Poster Contest in her class and then she won the grand prize out of the entire first grade. She was so excited and we are so proud of her. She won $15 but only came home with $10. One of the boys in her class was sad because he didn't win anything so she gave him her $5 bill to help cheer him up. What a sweet girl! She is so concerned with everyone's feelings. I am amazed at how giving she is a such a young age. Yay, Alexa! We are so proud of you! (I will try and get a picture of her with her poster posted soon!)

Easter Fun!

Our First Month With Libby Lou

We got to bring Libby home on March 20th. She is a funny little dog. It is really fun to have a puppy in the house. Wiggles is finally get used to Libby even though Libby picks on Wiggles all the time. They love to play. We had to give Libby a middle name because she is usually in trouble. The girls love Libby.

This is a close up of Libby. She has really neat markings around her eyes. She has lightened up a lot. When we picked her out, she was black.

Libby playing with her toys. She chews on pretty much everything. You got to love Libby Lou!

Big Bullies!!

If you saw our kids out and about a while back, you might think that some shady things were going on at our house. First, Alexa and Avery were playing on the bunk beds and Avery smacked her cheek on the big wooden post that keeps the bunk beds together. So, she was sporting a bruise on her cheek.

Avery's bruise. It's kind of hard to see but, it is the green mark on her cheek.

Second, Alexa was playing at recess and she ran into another kids head with her eye. It started out small but turned into a pretty nice shiner. Jeff was so proud!! His little princess has a shiner.

Finally, Jeff made them pose for a picture to make it look like they have beating each other up. Funny, picture! To sum it all up, my kids are not beating each other up. They are just clumsy!
