What has Avery been up to??

Avery has been a very busy little girl. She was a butterfly for Halloween and rocked the costume if you ask me! She has been doing very well in school. We got her first report card a while back and she got all S's. That means she is doing really well. She is also reading and testing on books, daily. We are so proud of our little Avery. She has grown up so much since she became a big sister and is such good helper. We love our Avery!

What has Jaxson been up to??

The real question would be, "What is Jaxson NOT up to??" Oh my, this boy is on the move! For Halloween, he was a cute little lobster. The cutest lobster I think I have ever seen, minus the year Avery was a lobster. He was a good little boy Halloween night and he got plenty of suckers to bribe him with during the next few months.

Avery loving on her little brother. She just loves this boy!

Jaxson's newest enjoyment...reorganizing our DVD's multiple times a day.

Sporting his new winter hat. Such a cute boy!

Maybe his new coat is a little too big...he doesn't really fit in his carseat with the puffy coat on.

Jaxson hanging with Papa G. He LOVES his Papa G. He can usually get the best smiles out of Jaxson.

Snuggling with Great Grandma Horsley. Precious!

And he's off...he has exchanged his army crawl for a regular crawl. He is still a little shaky but he is getting better everyday.

Watch out cellphones and remote controls. Jaxson is quick and can crawl to one in seconds.
So for Christmas, Jeff and I would like outlet covers, locks for our kitchen cupboards, and gates lots and lots of gates!

Pumpkin Carving 2010

We always enjoying carving pumpkins for Halloween. Jeff is like the Pumpkin Carving King!! He does a great job. This year Alexa carved her own pumpkin for the first time and she made a perfect little Jack-O-Lantern.

Avery cleaning out the guts of her pumpkin.

Alexa working on her masterpiece.

A little help from me.

The finished product...

They looked pretty neat. From left to right: Avery's, Alexa's, and Jaxson's

Alexa with her Jack-O-Lantern.

Avery with her witch.
And, Jeff and Jaxson with Jaxson's very first pumpkin, an owl.

Crazy Hair Day

The Elementary school had Spirit Week the week of Halloween this year and one of the days was "Crazy Hair Day." We had a great time with this. Avery always wakes up with crazy hair so her hair wasn't much work. Alexa had one braid going up and one going down. They both looked pretty "crazy" that day.

Hunting 2010

Jeff only gets a few chances here and there to go hunting during the 2 week rifle deer hunt because it falls during Cross Country Season. Avery loves to do anything with her dad and she was able to go on a few hunts with him this year. They never shot anything but they had a great time together. That's all that matters, right?

Our little hunters...

Jeff got some amazing sunset pictures on their way home. We live in a beautiful area!
