He's Growing Way Too Fast...

Our sweet baby boy is growing up way too fast. Jaxson turned 6 months old on September 10th. Time is really flying by. He is the sweetest little boy and we loving having him as part of our family. Alexa tells me everyday, "I am so glad that we have Jaxson in our family. I just love my baby brother." Awwww, that's too sweet. I hope that she still feels the same way in a couple of years when he is in to EVERYTHING!!

Jaxson absolutely loves bathtime. He has never once cried during his bath. He is such a happy boy.

Jaxson hangs out every morning after his sisters have left for school and watches me get ready for the day. We have a lot of serious conversations. He chats my ear off most mornings.

Jaxson lives for FOOD!! (My kind of kid!) He loves everything, even sweet potatoes. Yuck!

This is his serious face. A lot of times, he looks like he is in deep thought. Maybe wondering when his next meal is.

He really is such a happy baby. He is easy going and doesn't let too many things bother him. Everything about Jaxson is perfect, especially his cheeks. We love him to pieces!!
Jaxson's 6 months stats:
Weight: 16.8 lbs~40th percentile
Lenth: 27 in.~70th percentile
P.S. I have been telling people for a few months now that Jaxson weighed 17lbs. at his 4 month checkup. Where I got this information is beyond me, as he only weighed 14.8 lbs. at 4 months. I apologize for the misunderstanding. Silly me!

Avery's "Friend" Birthday Party

We had a little Friend Birthday Party for Avery last Thursday after school. She wanted to have her party at Hooper Springs so they could play on the toys. It was a pretty great idea. I didn't have to have 12 girls running through my house.

The girls enjoying their hotdogs and fruit before the games begin.

The other side of the table.

My amazing little helper, Alex. She came to help me with Jaxson and to help me keep all these girls entertained.

Opening presents...

Happy 5th Birthday Miss Avery!!

Our little Avery turned 5 on August 29th. We had our family over for dinner and cake and ice cream. Out of all our kids, it seems like Avery's years have gone by the fastest. She has grown up so fast and I kind of feel like I missed it completely. Avery is beautiful little girl who is happy when she's happy and grumpy when she's grumpy. There is no "in between." Her laugh is contagious and we love her to pieces!!

Aunt Courtney, Alexa, Sydnie, Rylie, and Remie watching Avery open presents.

Aunt Jodi and Baby Drayden watching Avery, too.

Avery's BEAUTIFUL Tinkerbell Cake.

John is always hiding out somewhere during these parties. I think Jeff caught him picking his nose. HA!! HA!!

Avery getting ready to blow out her candles.

Make a wish!!

Here are 5 FUN FACTS about our little Avery:
#1. Her favorite dinner is Spaghetti.
#2. Her favorite activity is riding bikes.
#3. She will be an awesome Mom some day. She loves to take care of her babies and she loves to help with Jaxson.
#4. She always has my dress shoes on and she always puts my make up on. I think she would love to be a teenager, today!
#5. She can sing pretty much any country song on XM Radio. And, she even knows most of the words.
Avery's smile can light up a room. She is a very special little girl and we are so lucky to have her in our family! We hope that you had a Happy Birthday, Avery!! We love you!

Ready for winter??

Jaxson is!

Back to School...All ready?

I can hardly believe that it is time to start school, again. The summer flew by. I am not really complaining. I love the school year. There is just something about a schedule that I enjoy. Ya know, going to bed at 8:30 and getting up at 7:00. Life just seems to go a lot smoother when we get good sleep.

Alexa's first day of 3rd grade. It seems that once they start school they grow up entirely too fast. She is so excited for school. She has missed her friends.

Avery's first day of Kindergarten. She has wanted to go to "big kid" school for years now. And, it is finally happening. I am a little nervous for our little Avery to be in Kindergarten. She has always been a Mama's girl but I know that Kindergarten will be good for her. Plus, she looks so grown up!

We just hung her backpack and jacket up...she doesn't look like she is too sure about this.

Getting her picture taken by Mrs. Cunningham on the first day.

Avery coloring with her friends...Carly and Kendall. And, she looks happy!!

Alexa with her friends Bayli and Cedar. Little nerds...they LOVE school!

Alexa and Cedar...this seating arrangement won't last long. There might be a little chatter coming from this side of the room.

Hanging up her back-back. Still looking pretty happy to be back to school.

P.S. Don't we have beautiful girls??

Sweet Pea 2010

Our family headed to Bozeman, MT the first weekend in August for the Sweet Pea Festival. We haven't missed a year since 2005 and we look forward to Sweet Pea every year.

Hanging out in Aunt Kibbie's yard.

Our little kiddos...

Our crazy family...

Our happy family...

Alexa enjoying the music. She danced all night.

Alexa running the Sweet Pea Kids Race. She did a great job! Jeff says she has potential, but we just need to work on some toughness.

Avery enjoying her race. She was definitely happy to be running. Not really competing mostly just socializing.

All of the little racers...

Watching the parade...

All tuckered out after his big race.

Jeff and Jaxson sleeping during the concert...must have been a long day.

Avery, Aunt Kibbie, and Uncle Steve enjoying each other's company.

The Sweet Pea Crew...crazy bunch!!

It looks like they had a great time.
