Yay, Alexa!

Last week, Alexa came out of the school a little happier than usual. She was carrying her Monsanto Safety Poster, with a blue ribbon and a big purple ribbon. When she got in the car, she told me that she won the Safety Poster Contest in her class and then she won the grand prize out of the entire first grade. She was so excited and we are so proud of her. She won $15 but only came home with $10. One of the boys in her class was sad because he didn't win anything so she gave him her $5 bill to help cheer him up. What a sweet girl! She is so concerned with everyone's feelings. I am amazed at how giving she is a such a young age. Yay, Alexa! We are so proud of you! (I will try and get a picture of her with her poster posted soon!)
