Basketball 2009-2010

Alexa participated in the 2nd grade Basketball program during the month of December and part of January. It is mostly just learning the fundamentals of basketball. She had to have some convincing because all she wants to do is dance. She is so stinking tall and has some natural talent so learning the fundamentals can't hurt her, right? She ended up having a really good time and has learned some great things. Her coach even asked her if she wanted to play with the 3rd and 4th graders. She politely declined and will wait until next year to play with them. We are so proud of our little basketball player. Hopefully, she will continue to enjoy it and eventually play on the High School Basketball Team.
