Twinkies Anyone?

Jaxson got to eat his very 1st Twinkie at the beginning of April. They were giving Twinkies away at the grocery store. Who could pass up a "free" Twinkie? Jaxson LOVED his free Twinkie! It didn't last long but he was sure a happy boy!

A Night at the Prom...

Prom is a "must" every year for our girls. Jeff has to announce the floorshow and Alexa has had the opportunity of serving for the last 2 years. Our girls LOVE going to the Prom and the High School kids are always so good to our girls. They got plenty of hugs from all the pretty girls and Sean was kind enough to stop for a picture with Alexa.

So, yes, I have totally hacked into my sister's blog....I will own it!!! This is Kim, her big sister, and I just wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday! And you can't have a birthday without a "little" embarrassment! So I have been looking through some of my pictures and I just had to share!

We have been celebrating Jaxson's 1st Birthday for 3 days now. He opened his presents from us on his birthday after Jeff got home from track practice. His opening skills still need some work. But, he did have some great help from his big sisters. He was more interested in paper and tags than his gifts.

On Saturday, we had family over for dinner. Grandpa Matthews and June came a couple hours early and spend some quality time with the kids playing games and braiding hair. Our kids love these two.

Family Movie Night

Last week , the Elementary School put on a "Family Movie Night." Minus the kids that were just dropped off by their parents, it was a really fun night. We watched Despicable Me. The kids could wear pj's and bring sleeping bags, blankets, pillow pets, etc., etc. They even had free popcorn and licorice. It was a great night! The kids loved it!!

Happy 1st Birthday, Jaxson!!

It's hard to believe that a year ago today, we were welcoming little William Jaxson into our family. Time really does fly!! He is such an amazing little guy. He is a happy, energetic boy who gets into EVERYTHING!! His giggles are contagious and his dancing is hilarious!! He makes us laugh all the time and we absolutely LOVE having him in our family!
